I Took my Taos in for a 20k service. Upon arrival I was assisted by Jesse. He was friendly and helpful through the entire experience.
This VW service center has always taken care of my TDI Sport wagon. Service manager Eduardo was excellent. He advised me regularly during the servicing of my car. I will request Jim every time when the wagon needs something done as I have 108,000 miles on the car. The agency spotlessly clean, coffee was good and available, the chairs were clean and comfortable, I could watch the news on a nice big TV while I waited for my ride back home. If you have a VW, go to this service group!!!
Isaac took care of me and getting my car setup! Everyone was super helpful and informational on what all my car needed and performed very well on my car. I was in to drop it off and picked up quickly with no waiting around. Thanks so much Isaac for your wonderful customer service skills!

I'm so pleased with the service that I've been given at this dealership. I took my vehicle in for a window and a warranty work for the starter. Emily and Sal of the service department worked hand in hand so that I could get a great and efficient service. They were both friendly and was in constant communication regarding updates about my vehicle. A 5-star rating for me is an understatement.

My new car purchase experience with Kearny Mesa was seamless! I first inquired about the Atlas Cross Sport 3.6L V6 with 4Motion advertised on sale on Saturday morning. Christian called me right away and answered my initial questions, sent me additional pictures, and provided a reply to my lease terms/price I was looking for. I had a great experience! Sandra Rivera was wonderful! She took good care of me! Steve was was awsome! He worked out the best deal for me! I honestly had the best customer service at a dealership! Efficient and Professional Service. I brought my 2013 VW Jetta 2.5 SE in for 110k mile service, recall work and because of an intermittent check-engine-light issue with the camshaft positioning. They were really busy when I brought the car in (I made the appointment via their website) but Tina was professional and efficient. Because of the COVID-19 situation they do not have a courtesy shuttle. They offer a ride with Lyft, but only for 5 miles. They only have a small number of loaner cars too, which I was told are given out on a case-by-case basis, whatever that means, and the manager ...

Mike Montesano at VW Kearny Mesa was our sales rep. They had dozens of used VWs on the lot, the largest selection in San Diego county (several times larger than other VW dealerships we visited). Many cars on the lot to choose from. We felt no pressure in the sales process. We told Mike what we were looking for (price range, mileage, model year, etc.) and he delivered a half dozen options. We test drove several of them, and settled on the perfect fit for our "kid car".
I love this dealership! It's the only one I've seen that's open 7 days a week for service and the staff has always been awesome. This time, I worked with Marriah and she was very kind, funny, knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions. I will for sure be back and already told my sister about what a great dealership this is and she bought a car here this year also.
Volkswagen Kearny Mesa is the BEST! The sales consultants are very friendly and knowledgeable, yet not pushy or fake. They have a huge inventory of new and used vehicles and make the car buying process as painless as possible.

I recently had my Gti in service at VW Kearny Mesa and I was extremely impressed with their service. The shuttle service was prompt, I didn't even wait for 5 mins. They addressed all my questions and requests and their communication was excellent. I have been to other dealerships in the area and while they were good, this experience was the best so far. I had a check engine light on and scheduled an appointment. I dropped my 2015 GTI off at the over night drop and received a call in the morning. I confirmed the problem and they went to work. I was in the area that afternoon and stopped by. My car had a vacuum leak in the fuel system. They were unable to complete the repairs at the time I arrived to pick up my car, so they immediately gave me a 2016 loaner Passat. The following morning, repairs complete! Every time I take my car in, no matter what the reason is, I find the service to be exceptional, personal, they stick to their commitment about time, the waiting area is clean, easy to use and comfortable, they take you where you need to go within a limited radius and most of all they do the work RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!! The buying experience there was also top notch and I LOVE MY CAR!!
Just wanted to take a moment to review Patrick Duffey at VW Kearny Mesa. I didn't end up purchasing the car from him but he was a great sales person - knowledgable, flexible, not pushy and fair. I absolutely recommend this dealership and Patrick if you are going with a VW.
Best car buying experience ever. We usually go the Costco route but we got an even better deal here without the hours-long haggling that often takes place. Francisco was exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, just down to earth. I would not hesitate going back again. Great staff. We actually felt like they cared about our experience there. Plus we got a great deal on a new Jetta diesel.
In July I leased my second VW CC from VW Kearny Mesa. My experience at this dealership has always been exceptional. And it was no different during the selection of my new vehicle. Mr. Lopez was a huge factor in my return use of the dealership as opposed to the mechanic down the road. They were keen on granting me discounts for services rendered and am planning on using them in the future.

I have been going to Kearny Mesa VW since they opened. I have an old golf, and my car has unfortunately had to take quite a few trips to the 'shop'---so I have gotten to know a bunch of the folks there, and have found everyone to be great! My 1988 VW Cabriolet had a catastrophic failure of the steering wheel bearing, with some electrical and tune up needs. Most VW dealers just don't have techs that know or want to work on a car this old. Herman Cook VW told me to go away. Turns out VW Kearny Mesa does like to work on A1 VW. Although the parts were VERY hard to find Roman and the tech made it happen. I was a big fan of Miramar VW and sad to see them close. VW Kearny Mesa is my new dealer!
Edgar and Kathy were awesome. Edgar listened to my concerns and everything is top-notch. Kathy kept me informed and made suggestions that I declined at the time, but appreciate the enthusiasm to do a job correct the first time. The free loaner (brand new c c) was a very unexpected yet welcomed surprise. I didn`t even think to ask even though it was offered as I was mulling the thought!
